The ice storm this past weekend here in Ontario knocked out power for a lot of people; tens of thousands are still without even as of this writing. Having suffered the loss of power here for a couple of days, those still without power have my deepest sympathy.
But while I was without electricity, I watched the landscape outside become encrusted in a thick layer of ice. Or to put it another way, an opportunity to shoot in unusual weather. So, like many addicted to the camera, I headed out to shoot everything of interest.
This first set of images is of a pine tree in my yard whose boughs were weighed down with ice.
