New Orleans

The images of the French Quarter of New Orleans were processed using the same style I used for Scotland, adapted for an urban setting.

The French Quarter is mostly a melange of late eighteenth and early nineteenth architectural styles, from the French and Spanish colonial to Creole to antebellum American, reflecting how the city and Louisiana were passed from one colonial power to another before becoming incorporated into the United States, and in the process developing its own unique local culture.
