Yep, I took a bunch of photos during the ice storm last month. Things looked all purdy and everything, after all. With the exception of the photo of the willow, this selection of images comes from the farm field behind my house, taken the day after the weather cleared up and was actually sunny out. It certainly seemed perfect conditions to get images that played with the glint of sunlight on the ice.
I ended up shooting with a combination of my Pentax 16-50mm f/2.8 lens and my Rokinon 500mm f/5.6 mirror lens. With the latter lens, I was deliberately playing with the funky bokeh in my images.
